Elder has created and produced podcasts for the Chicago Tribune, Chicago-Sun Times and the Crain Communications. Currently, he serves as executive producer (and co-host) of Crain’s “HR Confidential” with Heather Krentler.

Elder is the host of “The Big Questions” (currently on hiatus), for which he interviewed musician such as The Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan, comedians such as Ron Funches and Bert Kreischer, and authors including Scott Turow and Elizabeth Berg. An archive of those interviews can be found at BigQuestionsPodcast.com.

While at the Chicago Sun-Times, Elder launched the Sun-Times Media Local Podcast Network and executive produced “The Advice Show” and “Over the Barrel.”
